Yesterday, I experimented with my 75 repetitions of abdominal breathing practice. I counted down in segments. 75-70. Pause. 69-60. Pause. 59-50. Pause. And so forth. Sometimes I had to breathe fast to maintain my count and concentration. Eventually, my counting and breathing slowed down. Sometimes by the time I reach zero, my mind is completely still. I spend some moments abiding in stillness.
