Each day, maintaining the countdown of my abdominal breaths from 75 to zero gets easier. As a result, I start over fewer times.

This morning, I combined my “countdown” with one of the routines prescribed by my chiropractor. One challenge for people my age is keeping the spaces between our vertebrae open.

As I counted my abdominal breaths during my chiropractic activity, my attention shifted from my abdominal/sacral charka to my root chakra.

The root chakra is at the base of the spine. With this shift, I sensed that my abdominal breathing exercise was morphing into an “energy-massaging one.”

The sacral chakra is below the belly button. It contains the energies we associate with emotions and creativity.

The rook chakra is at the base of the spine. We associate the energies there with our sense of security, stability, and survival.

By bringing my attention to my abdominal breathing, I’m enhancing the energy flows in that area.

My 75 Breaths Challenge is also becoming an “energy balancing” one.

Happy New Year!
